School News

Happy February! A lot is going on this month, so please be sure and be on the look out for notes and schedules of this month’s activities on your child’s classroom door.
Registration (of the presently enrolled families) for fall of 2017 is Wednesday, February 1st – February 10th. 
Registration for siblings of presently enrolled will be February 13th-15th. I will be filling any remaining spots with new family applications beginning February 16th.   If you have any questions, stop by Vivian’s office.
Valentine Party – We will be celebrating Valentine’s Day on Monday, Feb.13th and Tuesday, Feb.14th. The teachers will have signs posted outside their classroom for parents to sign up for cookies for the party. Please remember, sugar cookies!
Coffee Talk – Wednesday, February 15th after drop off, we will be getting together for small talk.  “I will be your host!  You can talk amongst yourselves and I may give you a topic. No big Whoop, just coffee talk!”  Seriously, it will be a fun time to get together and share stories, concerns, discipline strategies, etc.  Everyone is welcome!
President’s Day – School is closed on Monday, February 20th, for President’s Day.
Donuts with Dad is going to be such a fun time for Dads to come and see their child’s classroom and have some special time with them. Mark your calendar for Wednesday, February 22ndh and Thursday, February 23rd.  Donuts with Dad will be from 9:00 – 9:30 a.m.  A letter will be mailed to Dad next week.  We hope to see you then.  Please be aware, if Dad cannot make it, we welcome moms to come!
Rodeo Dress-up Day will be also be Wednesday, February 22nd and Thursday, February 23rd. This is such fun for the children.  If your child wears boots to school, please send rubber sole shoes for them to change into for the playground.
Summer School registration will begin on Monday, April 3rd.  Summer school will take place on T/Th,
9:00 – 2:00p.m., May 30th – July 6th.   Registration fee will be $50 and tuition for the 6 week session will be $500.  This will be due at the time of registration.
We will have a Kindergarten Camp again this summer (for children entering kindergarten in the fall).
